Skin Peels are used for a range of skin conditions. The peels used by TK Aesthetics are Alpha- & Beta- Hydroxy Acids. They can be combined with other treatments e.g. Juliette Armand Facials or Microneedling.
MANDELIC ACID 40%
Mandelic Acid is a good starter peel and is an alpha hydroxy acid. It originates from almonds. It enhances exfoliation & regulates skin turnover.
SALICYLIC ACID 30%
Salicylic Acid is a beta hydroxy acid. Originating from Willow Bark. Used for rejuvenation and revitalisation. Its antibacterial and regulation properties are idea of r treatment of acne/oily skin.
LACTIC ACID 50% / 80%
Lactic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid. Originating from Milk. It has a milder effect than glycolic acid and so may be more suited to more sensitive skins.
GLYCOLIC ACID 50% / 70%
Glycolic Acid is another alpha hydroxy acid with powerful exfoliation properties and intense regeneration of cells.
SALICYLIC 20% / AZELAIC 17%
A mixture of Salicylic & Azelaic Acid. It promotes skin turnover. Salicylic Acid has antibacterial and sebum/oil regulation properties. Azelaic Acid helps combat acne.
